AP State Government has started Employee Health Scheme on 05.12.2013. AP State Govt Employees, Pensioners have to register themselves at www.ehf.gov.in website to get Health Card, which can be used for cashless treatment in network hospitals in the state. Non Gazetted and Gazetted Employees have to pay a premium of Rs90 and Rs120 respectively to avail this scheme. About 150 employees and pensioner has so far registered for health cards. They can get free treatment upto 2 Lakh rupees. About 14,00,000 people will be benefited from this scheme which in terms called EHS (Employee Health Scheme)
AP Govt at present, providing inpatient treatment for about 1885 listed therapies under all specialities in the empanelled/network hospitals.
The employees, pensioners their dependent family members are eligible get free treatment for a sum of Two Lakh rupees only per episode of illness/disease. Even though, if the expenditure cross the limit of Rs2,00,000 cashless treatment will be continued.
Health Card Application form is available at the Mee Seva Centres. Health Card Employee Enrolment Form, and Pensioners Enrolment Form can also be downloaded from the official website.
EHS (Employees Health Scheme) is designed for free treatment to all the Andhra Pradesh State Government Employees. Pensioners, and their dependent family members through network hospitals of Aarogyasri Health Care Trust. Earlier Medical Reimbursement system has been implemented.
The period which is from the day of reporting to hospital to Ten days after discharge from the hospital will be treated as part of the package. If both wife and husband are Government Employees or Government Service Pensioners, then contribution of Premium by any one of the spouses is sufficient.
The following Rates are fixed for Employee Health Scheme
Rs.1200 for Non-NABH Hospitals, Rs.1500 for NABH accredited Hospitals for Semi Private Ward on a per day basis.
Rs.1500 for Non-NABH Hospitals, Rs.2000 for NABH accredited Hospitals for Private Ward on a per day basis.
